I ate lunch and dinner here for a whole week. The staff is excellent, and the food is fast and meticulous. I've tried many dishes and can't complain about any of them. The chef deserves my Italian-like, fussy service. (They always said yes to our off-menu orders, so I have to thank them.) If you stop by, order the paella—it's excellent!!

From the outside it looks like an old place, but when you enter the dining room, it's all decorated with lots of old photos of Zaragoza, and the lounge is clean. They have a weekend menu for 16 euros, coffee included, which is very correct. In our case, we ordered hors d'oeuvres, salads, and paella for the first course. For the main courses, all the lamb was very good. One of the people in the group asked if they could change it to grilled chops and it was no problem. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. It's better to book, because it was full, there were no free tables, that says something. I'll come back next time. There were 6 of us and we ordered 2 bottles of house wine, 1 Coca-Cola, 2 sodas, and a bottle of water, which was included in the price.

We ate with friends from Alcarria. A place that exudes the atmosphere of a traditional restaurant, with its distinctive photos of places of yesteryear and the best roast lamb. If you're of a certain age, you'll surely appreciate family-style food and exceptional flavor. While the first courses are simple, I highly recommend the roast lamb and any homemade dessert for the main course. For approximately €20 per person, it's just a stone's throw from the city's historic center. A perfect place if you're visiting the city and don't have a lot of money to spare.

We were here many years ago and were pleasantly surprised again yesterday by the value for money. The midweek menu for €11 is excellent. We'd love to come back.
